VersaTREK Transporter

Before infections can be treated, they must be identified. To be identified, collected blood samples need to get to the lab…pronto!

The Challenge:

PakTecha was hired by TREK Diagnostic Systems — a leading manufacturer of cutting edge, microbiological testing equipment and supplies — to design a reusable carrier that would safely deliver patient samples from the point of collection to the hospital laboratory. Since the carrier would travel through the hospital’s pneumatic tube system, it needed to be secure, sturdy, and simple to use.

The Solution:

PakTecha’s OpenMind™ creative process delivered a unique, one-piece Transporter to protect and carry TREK’s vials. Floating “ribs” were incorporated into the design to cushion any impacts. To make the Transporter uniquely TREK’s, PakTecha produced the piece in TREK’s trademark color and molded their logo and instructions for use directly into the piece.

The result? Beautiful packaging to protect precious packages. Done!
