Nature’s perfect food: pristine, organic eggs. Exquisite! How, then, to differentiate this sublime sustenance from similar products in the crowded dairy case?

The Challenge:

Zen Eggs engaged PakTecha to develop a package that would cradle the food in a open, transparent package. PakTecha recognized the simple beauty of the egg, and set about designing a package to convey a sense of health, longevity and vitality.

The Solution:

OpenMind™, PakTecha’s trademarked thinking process, ideated a series of containers to provoke contemplation and wonder. Using food-safe, sustainable materials, PakTecha incorporated zen’s traditional Yin/Yang symbol into thermorformed containers designed to hold a dozen Zen Eggs. The eggs were nestled securely into pockets, designed to prevent breakage during shipping, handling, and shopping.

The meditative aspect of Zen Eggs didn’t stop at the thermoformed Yin/Yang. Using food-safe inks, each egg received the imprint of a random Zen adage.

Zen Eggs becomes unexpected, meditative beauty in the dairy aisle with recyclable, innovative, delightful package designs. Om!
